I have never used this and I have no need for it, but I can see that this is something people want, especially less tech savvy ones. I could just download the book I wanted to listen to on demand with the resilio client and drop the stuff I do not need anymore. I used it to offer audiobooks to my phone for example. Partial sync is the last main benefit I see in Resilio. It is for sure a limited use case where this makes sense, but I still appreciated and used it.
